The Dining Room

Our beautiful, time honoured dining room is steeped in the history and tradition of the Club. Classically dressed in deep blue and burgundy. The rooms boasts stunning views with long deep windows. The stunning mahogony tables have been traditionally dined upon and are still a fundmental attraction of our dining room.

Our Dining room is used for daily lunch and dinner, private functions and events from our programme.

Dining Times:
Lunch time is between the 12.30 and 14.00 hours.

Lunch is not served on Monday and Saturday.

The Dining Room is available for Private Hire every Saturday lunch time.

We have reduced our Lunch price for 2010 to €20.00

Dinner is served between 19:30 and 21:15 hours. Dinner is not served on Monday or Sunday. We have reduced our prices for 2010 to €45.50. Once course and steak menu options are also available.

Dress Code for Dining Room - Smart Casual

Jacket required, tie not required, polo neck replacing the collared shirt (if preferred).

No jeans, sneakers, polo shirts or tee shirts.

(More formal dress of jacket and tie is encouraged at the weekends for gentlemen)

Reservations:
Adequate notice must be given to the Manager by Members wishing to dine.
Please contact the catering office should you wish to reserve seating or contact us at 2809452 (ext 1).

Special Considerations: Members Table

Guests will sit at seperarate tables with the Members who invited them but guests of Ordinary Members may join the Club (Members') table if invited to do so by the Members present. The Members' table in the Dining Room is not available on the following occasions:-

When the Dining Room has been fully booked either for a specific Club event or for a Member's private function.

On the occasion when there is a high demand for table bookings, and there are no indications that any Member wishes to dine at the Member's table.

In the case of Lunch (after 11:00hrs) and in the case of Dinner (after 18:00 hrs) the table will be released to accept bookings. This assumes that all other tables in the Dining Room have been booked by this time. Nothwithstanding the above, every effort will be made by staff to accommodate any Member, arriving after the times specified above, wishing to dine.
