Boathouse services 2010
Club Berthing: Berths are available on the RIYC marina, swinging moorings in the West and North Bights and on the deck for dry sailing and dinghy parking. Allocation is based on seniority of membership as per the attached.
Dry Sailing: All yachts applying for dry sailing must have a centre lifting point or balanced straps for a level lift. Limited space is available for yachts over 30 ft and under 40ft.
Deck parking: Available for all classes of dinghies.
Short-term deck storage: This is to facilitate owners who want to lift their boat ashore, for scrubbing, inspection and anti-fouling.
Electricity: 220/110v outlets on deck. No charge for casual use of drills, sanders, polishers.
Harbour surcharge: The Harbour Company levies all boats afloat in the Harbour €22.00 to pay for the cleaning of the harbour waters.
Scrubbing: The boathouse on specific request will arrange to have your boat collected, scrubbed and returned to it’s berth/mooring.
Life Jackets: It is the policy of the Club that all members wear personal floatation devices on all club vessels at all times.
