A relaxed afternoon with 15-minute breakout between each session.

1400 hrs
Commodore and committee will discuss the CAI program for summer 2017-  and do questions and answers. Also we will provide any feedback from the ISA cruising seminar in Cork on 18 February which many of you will not be able to attend.

1500 hrs
John Leahy - METEOROLOGY "Reading the signs" plus modern web based forecasting. John is a Yachtmaster Instructor and YM "Ocean". John is also an ex-airline pilot and understanding the weather was crucial to making sure that, in his 35-year career, the number of takeoffs = the number of landings!

1600 hrs
David Brannigan - (RNLI and Photographer)  SAFETY AT SEA and the RNLI. How to avoid the need to be rescued!

Social interaction 1700-1830 hrs.
Dinner served at 1900 hrs €25 euro for two courses.

A great opportunity to get together early in the season and discuss our summer program and learn a few new skills. And enjoy the company of friends old and new!
